Hope to see you all at the one-day Theorizing the Web conference on
Saturday, April 9th. the program is below. Should be a great day with
an opening Plenary talk by UM SOCY Prof. George Spritzer, closing
keynote of Microsoft Researcher Danah Boyd, and many interesting
presentations and panels. Thanks to the Conference Co-Chairs are SOCY
grad students PJ Rey and Nathan Jurgenson.
We provide students interested in special librarianship: opportunities to meet librarians in the field; firsthand knowledge of special libraries through field trips and lectures; career preparation to enter the workforce or gain new skills; interaction with fellow students.
