On Tuesday March 20, 2012, CUA/SLA hosted DC/SLA Dine Around at Vapiano's restaurant in Washington, D.C. This was a great opportunity for SLIS students to chat with SLA professionals and for SLA members to let students know about current and future opportunities through SLA and within the field.

We provide students interested in special librarianship: opportunities to meet librarians in the field; firsthand knowledge of special libraries through field trips and lectures; career preparation to enter the workforce or gain new skills; interaction with fellow students.
