Checkin it twice!
We are loving our down time, but just in case you realize that you should know when classes resume - check out the Launchpad tab - the Academic Calendar link has been added. All this holiday fun can cause a person to forget the first day back to school!! :-) Be sure to scroll DOWN since the calendar begins with Fall 2010 and well, we are SO done with that semester.

Try out the SLIS Launchpad
Visit the SLIS Launchpad a few tabs to the right and get a handy dashboard for CardinalMail login, SLIS technology page (this has almost everything! except books...), a link to Mullen Library and also a link to the Library and Information Science's own Libguide. Up and running
Welcome to the CUA/SLA Student group info center. We are using this location to keep you in the loop about our activities, events, members, and information. have a great suggestion? Send it on to slacua@gmail.com
Thank you Kelly Cornett for whipping up our new virtual meeting info commons! Some of those books look like they need your help with preservation, Kelly. Just the kind we like! Pass the wheat paste and the oyster shucker, please.

Our new space is helping us to be keep up better with the rapid info flow around our community and that of the DC/SLA. (getting access to updating our current web site is proving difficult, and content there has been overtaken by events). Think of this space as a virtual folder for your CUA/SLA info. Or, just let us know what you want it to be!
Also, don't forget to join SLA today to get up and running!
